My Radio Show!!

One of my favorite parts of college is hosting my radio show, Electric Relaxation. Music is constantly on my mind—from the moment I wake up to when I turn off my lamp at night. Whether you're a friend I've talked into the ground about some obscure album or someone I bombard with song recommendations, music is the vessel I use to navigate this chaotic world. In both my darkest and brightest moments, it's my shelter from the storm. Some days that means crying to Jeff Buckley; other days, it's rapping along to A Tribe Called Quest. It all depends on the mood. And maybe the weather.

Episodes

3/17/25

After a spring break roadtrip through the gut of the South to New Orleans, I was eager into music both about and from The Big Easy.

Later on, a little soul never hurt nobody, and it felt right in the moment.

3/31/25

Going into detail on two of my favorite artists: Mac Demarco and Grateful Dead. What aspects do they share? How do they differ? Is there a correlation between cigarettes smoked and musical fame?

4/7/25

On a rainy spring day, I stitch together a rather sporadic medley of tunes to warm up from alternative Hip-Hop to Grunge. Later on, I highlight some of my favorite female artists in the music scene from both the present and past.

9/21/25

There are about 50,000 students at Penn State University Park. Downtown, there streets are lined with dozens of bars, restaurants, and venues where students, professors, and locals come together over food, drinks, and live music. Naturally, this leads to an influx of performers looking to claim their own turf in this crowded scene. The question is: how do you make people stop and listen?

For Little Blue and the Stargazers, a student quartet now entering their second year together, it's all about staying true to themselves. From Norah Jones to Stevie Wonder to Wes Montgomery, they lean into this range to shape a sound that mixes warmth, grooves, and soul.

What am I currently listening to?
